Not just me running late
On November 11, Fred release their new single, 'October', (an ode to Earth's greatest month according to them). So either thay are as swamped as me, or they are 11 months early.
I know which is more likely.
Thay will be doing thair Cork launch in Club One on Wednesday 10th November. Support on the night will be from Niall Connolly and his band, (or His Band), and from Dulin's 'The Marshal Stars' (haven't heard of them either). Tickets are 10 and are available from Plugd Records on Washington Street. The gig is in conjunction with Freakscene, and anyone buying a ticket will be able to stay on in the club after the gig. Regular Freakscene price of occurs from 11pm.
