there goes the event backlog

Ok.
Time to get some of the listings I have out there again...

November 19 (Friday)
8pm. The Four of Us play the Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh.
Hey, I just happen to like them. So there.

November 19 (Friday)
No starting time. Horace Andy vs. Mad Professor play the Vaults.
Two dub-reggae legends for the price of one. Don't actually like dub or reggae, but you have to respect this pair.

November 22 (Monday) and November 23 (Tuesday)
9pm. Jack L plays the Granary Theatre.
More love, sex and Jacques Brel.

November 24 (Wednesday)
9pm. Leslie Dowdall plays the Lobby Bar
An old-timer, and I mean that in a good way. Should be a great night.

November 26 (Friday)
8pm. Ronán Ó Snodaigh from Kíla (and friends) plays the Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh.
I saw him on the panel, and this is the guy who is trying (and it appears, succeeding) to get a "speaker's corner" type thing going in Temple Bar in Dublin. Which means he's an interesting guy, if not entirely all there.

November 26 (Friday)
No starting time. The Waiting Room and Giveamanakick play.
Both are signed to a Road Relish and they are available together on a 'Road Relish split-7"'. That's vinyl boys and girls. Just listen to the crackle.

November 27 (Saturday)
8pm. Mark Geary plays the Half Moon
With special guest Q

December 9 (Thursday)
8pm. Reading from her debut novel Revolutions, join Lory Manrique-Hyland at the Triskel Arts Centre. It's interesting as it's an insight in to the mind of Marysol Castillo, a Cuban-American girl living in Miami.

December 13 (Monday)
8pm. Josh Ritter plays the Cork Opera House
Special guest is Canadian singer songwriter Kathleen Edwards.

December 19 (Sunday)
No start time. Future Kings of Spain play An Cruiscin Lan.
din0saur corrected me on this one. Thanks.

February 13 2005
No starting time. Thin Lizzy play the Everyman Palace.
No comment. Not too sure what their new line-up sounds like.
